We have been there a number of times recently. Had a great meal every time. We dine out often and consider Kraft one of our favorites. We always ask the owner what he recommneds and we always have a great meal at a price well-worth the money. The restuarant is very pretty and looks great at night - nice low-key bar scene with a nice sophisticated crowd. Definitely not the for "show and a beer" crowd.
Dim candles and well appointed decor make this a pleasant atmosphere. The food was on the verge of being very good. I think on another night it would have been better. Service was strange. They are very hospitable, but we waited WAY too long for our entree. Then they were ultra fast clearing our table. We really wanted to try desert, but were afraid of how long that would take. Overall only a decent experience.
Been here numerous times, although the prices are high the atmosphere is great and so is the food.
The recession has definitely hit a segment of Bronxville restaurants. We had dinner on a Tuesday night and were the only diners..........a rather bizarre experience. Food, mostly appetizers was OK not great.
Kraft's menu is diverse with stunning sauces and impressive portions. Big wine pours are standard but come with a big check. . .however, the food holds up to the price. Before dinner, put the bartender, Karim, to work as he makes great drinks
