You want this place to work. The staff are friendly and the food genuine Italian -- a mix of northern and southern. The dishes can be first-rate, but can also be uninteresting. Service is friendly, but not particularly professional. Decore is basic. Overall, Amicie Miei comes off as a nice neighborhood Italian.
