On Saturday, 10/10/09 there were 3 of us dining. We each had a different entre. Veal, Ravioli and Salmon. This is our second time there and the restaurant was full. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food and the desserts were great. Yes, we would go back again. It was noisey because the restaurant was full. It's nice to see people lhaving a good time.

The worse restaurant in NYC to chose for lunch. Very expensive with limited selection and last minute changes in menu because running out of steaks

Good place for casual business meeting. Good selection of food and plenty of spaces in case of going their at the last minutes for lunch.

Two years ago when I was last in Abboccato it was elegant and excellent with imaginative Italian food. It has drastically changed. Table clothes became formica. The menu became standard and cooking dropped off the chart. Crispy sweetbreads were simply inedible. Service was haphazard. I can't believe the experienced owners would let this happen. Do not go unless the fix it.

Much more expensive than I anticipated!!! The food is very good, and both the service and decor were okay........but the half empty restaurant on a Saturday night may make the owner think about lowering prices a bit!
