The sushi is **AMAZING**!! I mean I have eaten the best sushi in the NYC area and in my opinion this is at the absolute top, on par with the very best. Service and ambience were lovely, a great place to bring business dinners. The steaks looked absolutely awesome The spider sushi flambe was spectacular.

Zaqh, The aged prime beef served at shallots is the best quality of kosher steaks in town. My family and I frequent shallots in the past 3 years since it moved to Skokie and all I can say is that their Bordelaise with caramelized onions is to die for. Knowing the service and staff at shallots bistro, there is no way you would receive a bill at all if you mentioned something about not enjoying the meal, as you say you did. Does not sound true.

ordered a rib steak off the menu....terrible and way overpriced...was told that it was product from a certain supplier....i asked the supplier and he said it wasn't....very disappointing

Great, but pricey Kosher food. Beautiful establishment with concerned service.
