I made reservations a week before Valentine's Day. Called me the night before at 7pm to tell me it was a fixed price menu and we could only order off this menu. I have wanted to go to Amber for months and was so angry that we were told 22 hrs before Valentine's Day that we could not order off the menu we cancelled our reservations. I would rather cook at home than me limited to a special menu on a special night at a restaurant I've never been to.

I have never submitted a review online but my experience at Amber was so awful that I felt compelled to warn all future diners. Our evening started out with the hostess attempting to seat us in the back bar area by the coat rack while there was a private party going on. The private party had a Mediterranean buffet and a bellydancer! The evening went down from there, service was awful and the food was severely over salted. Horrible overall.

Awful! Service was slow and our wiater was slow had no personality and barely spoke english. We waited to be acknowledged and the food was just so so. We won't be going back!

mediocre food in an ok space. Very pricey for this quality and suburan locale
