I'm in artery-clogged, waist-busting heaven in this divine dive. This is one of Chicago's finest, with a hip twist on the classic hotdog stand which this city has perfected. You cannot get a better dog than in the Windy City, and you cannot find more creative varieties than at Doug's. And those duck-fat fries!

The best and maybe the only gourmet hotdog joint in Chicago, make that the country and probably the planet!. Get there early and wait in line with foodies from all over the world! Don't miss the fries fried in duck fat on Friday and Saturday. This is a Chicago landmark!

skip the rattlesnake, the best all-beef char dog anywhere; ordering from Doug is a treat

What can you say about a place that took a gallant and defiant stand against the city's stupid foie gras law? As much as the foie gras dog is tempting, stick with the classic Chicago dog, which is the best in town.
