Feels like the nicest restaurant in some tiny Italian village. Unpretentious, but elegant in its own way, with a very warm, if slightly flaky service. Marvelous risottos, and exceptional homemade desserts.
large varied menu. meticulously prepared food. welcoming owner, chef. large, quiet space with white tablecloths.
Rapidly becoming a destination for foodies, this intimate Italian run by a couple from Avellino is worth the trip to East Boston. Everything is freshly prepared including the desserts, which is rare. There is a short, but very reasonably prices wine list. You can get a truely outstanding meal here for half the price of the high end joints in the North End, and the food is probably better!
Hoving staff left our experience there cold.
