Nice atmosphere once you are through the mall area. Best part of the meal is the bread and eggplant spread. Soft shell crabs sounded and looked wonderful but left a lot to be desired as far as taste- fairly bland. Our guests expected a large piece of New York cheesecake for dessert and got a sliver of a piece of so-so cheese cake. Come on you can do better than that for 8 dollars! Where is the rest of my dessert?

Went to the main dining room before a movie as a treat; lovely atmosphere, but the food was a terrible disappointment - especially for the price. Salad and sides were bland, soup was downright awful. Will not return except to eat to the bar, where the prices are more reasonable - but you sacrifice atmosphere... it's a grimmer scene back there, without windows, and rarely do we see others there.

Terrible service at Freindship Heights location. After 30 minutes of no waiter, we walked out and they didn't even care. We will not go back.

Very nice decor till you exit the restaurant. Food is nice and visually pleasant, not particularly special.
