Last night was my third time eating at Au Pied de Cochon and I found the food, the service, and the experience to be of the same high-caliber as my prior visits. For those who are wanting a "fast" dinner ... French restaurants are not the place to go. Having been to Paris and experiencing Parisian dinning first-hand, I can attest that dinning is supposed to be an "experience" & Au Pied delivers just that for those who want a memorable evening!

Had special occasion dinner here. Was perfect. Had curtained booth, knowledgable waiter, and great food. Service well paced but for those in a hurry, it might seem slow.

Found the food items - salads, soups, entrees, everything to be delicious- even the steak, though it wasn't cooked (rare must mean through in french), it was still delicious. Not sure how they manage such a broad menu so well. For lunch the decor is fine, for dinner it is MUCH too bright. Service - wow!! Maybe this is part of the French experience I don't get. You almost think they forgot about you. VERY, VERY SLOW - off the chart.

We had heard & read some bad reviews about this place, but still wanted to try it. After all, with Le Coze being gone, and FAB certainly not a good match, what other French Bistro type places do we still have in town? Au Pied, we were in for a positive surprise. No 3-star Michelin place by no means, but very decent food with attentive service and honest prices. Will go back, especially when nothing else is still open!

Beautiful restaurant in swank hotel. Live jazz and presence of cognac bar in same lobby a plus. Service is attentive but slow. The onion soup was very good but the rest of the food was only OK. Open 24 hrs. is another plus.
