Very disappointing. Wife, teen daughter & I looked forward to the allegedly hip and cool setting and interesting food. To summarize: 15 min wait (past reserv) in bar - no service. 10 mni wait at table - no service. Food: sushi and fries were excellent. Lobster bisque overwhelmed by sweet corn; crab cakes literally flavorless w/flavorless sauce; prawns & scallaps - guess what? almost flavorless - prawns ok; scallaps undercooked. Do not go.
Each time I return to Chicago I come here to have the Popcorn Halibut. It's also great to eat in the second floor bar area (though the tables are first-come first-serve up there), smoking is allowed, and there used to be live jazz. Their sushi rolls aren't half bad either. The decor is nice, and the lighting is perfect (everyone looks good). But, the service can be spotty.
fresh, inventive, great
Sister to Blue Fin in NYC. Excellent seafood. Great martini's and eye candy...
The menu is wonderful and the decor is very chic.
