Actually, this is a former fraternity house on the Berkeley campus, that's housed on a Gothic structure, hence the mistaken review as a church. A good find on Campus.

One of the best in Berkeley, though difficult to carry on a conversation when full.

An unusual setting in an old church, very cozy, across from the UCB campus. A really lovely garden when its warm; in winter, a fire burning in the fireplace. Food is not fantastic, but quite good, and the atmosphere is delightful. A good place for students to be taken by their parents, too -- they'll be impressed.

This place is not worth your time or money. The food is tiny, the price is so high. For brunch, you would get one slice of bread that is cut in half, that is it, and you ask for more you get charge!!!!! Everything that they have is very overprice and it doesn't even tast that good. Go across the street to Starda!

It's like eating in the dining hall at Hogwarts
