OMG, this place is so fabulous and so crowded for dinner. It's worth the wait. Go into the rest rooms while you're waiting; they're really interesting. You never have to worry about a bad experience here; we've taken all sorts of people here. This is NOT Tex-Mex. This is sophisticated Mexico City type of cuisine. Great cochinita pibil, guacamole, chorros and home made ice cream in caramel sauce is fabulous. Save room for it.

Start with the Lowrider margarita, then go for the guacamole made fresh tableside. Don't miss the mole dishes, they are done to perfection. Worth the $16 dollar cab ride from downtown hotels.

One of our favorite Phoenix spots! Phoenix has many Mexican restaurants; this one stands above them all in authenticity and great food. Don't miss the made at table side guacamole and in addition to the margaritas already mentioned, the sangria. And save room for dessert-so wonderful you may wish to start here. Arrive early as it gets packed fast-no reservations. It is noisy but the food makes up for it. Don't miss this one when in Phoenix.

This was the best Mexican meal I have ever had. We have too many Tex-Mex restaurants and too little that serve authentic Mexican cuisine. Don't miss the guacamole and the margaritas.

Very good authentic Mexican food. The guacamole is a must as the ingredients are brought to you in a cart ant the waiter prepares it infront of you. The margaritas are excellent.
