Portions and menu have diminished in size, and the place is virtually empty since the economic downturn, but the chef continues to turn out amazingly original and delectible selections. The curry samplings are fabulous. Regulars receive a warm greeting and table visit by various staff members, making this a place to come back to. Hopefully business will pick up soon.

One of the best Hotel restaurants in SoBe. No fuss, professional service, top creative food. Excellent bar! Just a very good restaurant with good clientel. Things can be easy and good, eaven in Miami�s SoBe super hype.

Vix is all about atmosphere. The jelly fish aquarium, the music, the interior design and the other guests make you feel like you've arrived on Planet Cool. My husband had an out-of-this-world bluefin tuna tartar appetizer. The rest of our meal was good, not great. I'd happily return to Vix for drinks, before or after a meal elsewhere.

Cool south beach vibe. Been to Vix twice, the second time was during restaurant week. I love the bar area because it is neat and so is the jelly fish tank. Very good food hasn't made a tremendous impression on me, given the price point. Thoroughly enjoyed their Seven Sins dessert. It's a sampling of seven chocolate creations on spoons and deliciously decadent. Nice discretely strong cocktails. Love their red, stemless cocktail glasses.
