The food is excellent. Its a quite in town dinner spot, which is rare on Nantucket.

I am a very picky and spoiled person. My boyfriend owns a popular restuarant in New York City. After trying to find a place to eat on a busy Friday summer night in Nantucket, I was pleased to find this hidden gem off the path of tourist traffic to enjoy my night. Excellent service, very satsifactory wine list, and very innovative / well-executed / beautifully presented cuisines of old world. Would highly recommend.

Warning: an addictive dining experience. The sophisticated, eclectic food is WAY better than a Zagat 23, more in line with a 26. Warm, inviting, Nantucket-"formal" little dining rooms scattered in the 2nd story of a converted Nantucket home. Thoughtful wine list and knowledgeable servers.

Up the stairs to a contemporary take on old Nantucket. While the food is good, it seems the chef sometimes aims to be different, and misses as often as he makes it. Worth a try if you're into experimental and willing to take the risk.
