This lobster roll by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Son of a Gun in LA was served during a Lexus demo. The chefs mixed heaps of Maine lobster meat with a lemon aïoli and topped it with a few housemade potato chip shards. It was crunchy, creamy and buttery in every bite.

We just got back from the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen which was packed with chefs, media and food fans from all over the country. After attending countless parties, demos, seminars, interviews and tastings, we've rounded up the five best bites we tasted all weekend long. Check them out below.

Food & Wine Best New Chef and Qui chef-owner Paul Qui made this Filipino-style cobia ceviche with coconut-milk vinaigrette for Friday afternoon's grand tasting.
This black-olive meringue from Meadowood's Christopher Kostow was passed around at The Centurion Lounge by American Express. A slightly sweet jet-black olive meringue cupped St. Helena olive oil whipped to the consistency of warm butter. A black-olive vinaigrette and a flower from the Meadowood garden finished it off.

For a Stella Artois tasting meal, pastry chef Mathew Rice of Chicago's Girl and the Goat created these addictive, chewy peanut-butter sandwich cookies filled with smooth, creamy peanut butter cream — way better than a Nutter Butter.
