60 Seconds: Hottest Burgers

By Maureen Giannone
October 25, 2013

By the looks of our YouTube history, it's clear that burgers have definitely been on the brain across the country. So we've put together 60 seconds of some of our favorite patties, buns, toppings and more that are totally worth digging into. Don't drool too much now, ya hear?

  • Once you've watched the video, click through this slide show to see who's flipping each patty.

  • Behold, the Ramen Burger.

    Various Locations

  • Shake Shack

A New York standby, here's the ShackBurger. But for YouTube-turned-Travel Channel sensation Daymon "Daym" Patterson, there's no need to waste any bites with lettuce and tomatoes.

    Nationwide

  • Citi Field

This stadium may not have been the place to catch a good game this season, but the Keith Hernandez Burger was an all-star in and of itself.

    123-01 Roosevelt Ave., NYC, 718-507-6387

  • PYT

Can't decide between lasagna or a burger? Let PYT help you out with its deep-fried lasagna burger.

    1050 N. Hancock St., Philadelphia, 215-964-9009

  • Chego

And here we have Exhibit A. Roy Choi's fantastic Chego Burger with the works - 1/2 pound grass-fed beef, cheese, mayo, chile sauce, fried shallots, wild arugula and Thai basil.

727 North Broadway, Los Angeles, 323-380-8680

  • Burke & Wills

Hop on over to this Aussie gastropub in New York for the Kangaroo Burger.

    226 W 79th St., NYC, 646-823-9251

  • Burger Tap & Shake

This burger list isn't just for meat-eaters. In DC, BTS' Haight Ashbury is a crispy falafel patty with pickled vegetables,
feta and cilantro raita. No one could ever miss the meat with this bite.

2200 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington DC, 202-587-6258

  • Burger Joint

This spot is Zagat's top-rated New York burger spot. And we wouldn't steer you wrong, now, would we?

    Multiple Locations

  • Latin Burger

Miami adds a little flair, serving up this double-chorizo burger. This food truck patty is on a roll.

    Various Locations

  • Fritzl's Lunch Box

This Bushwick resto's burger is all the rage this year in Brooklyn.

    173 Irving Ave., NYC, 929-210-9531

  • Rockit Burger Bar

Chicago's latest culinary hit is a burger with no need for a slice of cheese. It's hugged by two deep-fried hunks of mac 'n' cheese. Get it while it's hot.

    3700 N. Clark St., Chicago, 773-645-4400

  • The Butterfly

At Michael White's 1950s-inspired supper club, the namesake patty melt is worth a try.

    225 W. Broadway, NYC, 646-692-4943

  • Little Prince

French onion soup is usually served by the bowl, but at this NYC spot, they're serving it up between an English muffin and topped with caramelized onions, bechamel and Gruyère cheese. And that's a hot top, since it's an off-the-menu item.

    199 Prince St., NYC, 212-335-0566
