A Look Inside The French Laundry's 20th Birthday Bash

Over the weekend, Thomas Keller's storied Napa Valley restaurant The French Laundry turned 20 with a blowout birthday party that spanned two days. On the guest list were some of the culinary world's biggest names, from Daniel Boulud — whom Keller once worked for — to mentees like Jonathan Benno (Lincoln) and Gavin Kaysen (Cafe Boulud).

The celebration kicked off with a July 4th anniversary dinner featuring some of Keller's greatest hits, including his signature amuse-bouche, the Salmon Tartare Cornet, and famed Oysters and Pearls. More than 500 guests gathered the following evening for a block party on Yountville's main thoroughfare, where they sipped champagne and downed caviar next to a massive XX ice sculpture.
