One time or another, most of us have waited till the last minute to make Valentine's Day plans - and found ourselves shunted to a makeshift table in the corner, or eating at a fourth choice because everywhere else was booked. But it doesn't have to be that way! Here are nine can't-miss (and likely to fill up) tables to make it the romantic evening you really want.
Bistro Niko: A ticket to Paris could be a budget-buster, but a trip to Bistro Niko? The food's just as authentic and there's nowhere near as many pigeons. The French favorite (pictured above) offers a romantic four-course dinner, available both Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15 ($68 per person).

Davio's: Inspired by the hearty cuisine of Northern Italy, this restaurant gives classic steakhouse dishes a refined interpretation. Though the regular menu will also be available, why not opt for the three-course prix fixe? ($75 per person.)

King + Duke: Perhaps the flames of passion will be ignited by the open hearth at this Buckhead hot spot, where all the items on its four-course menu will be prepared over the fire ($70 per person, wine pairings and menu supplements available at extra cost).

Sun Dial Restaurant: Sitting high atop the Westin Peachtree is one of Atlanta's venerable spots for lovebirds. (The claim is that, on average, there's one marriage proposal a day in the rotating dining room.)
