Mixologize: Want to up your cocktail game? Holeman & Finch's "Academy of Bartending" series returns on Saturday, April 26, with a class called Beyond Basics. Students will build on intro-level knowledge and delve into classic American cocktails like the Cobbler, the Daisy and the Fizz. Lunch and cocktail samples included ($100; 11 AM; 404-948-1175).
Wake: Midtown gastropub Tap has put together a coursed, family-style beer brunch. The Saturday, April 26, event will feature crab rolls, an English breakfast and profiteroles and éclairs all paired with drafts from local Red Hare Brewing ($35; 11:30 AM; 404-347-2220).
Slurp: Upscale seafood spot Lure throws its second springtime patio oyster roast on Saturday, April 26. Admission includes two Wild Heaven beers and all-you-can-eat fresh oysters, grilled housemade andouille, Vidalia-onion hushpuppies, cole slaw and more ($53.75; 1-3 PM; 404-817-3650).
Boil: On Saturday, April 26, post-college Buckhead bar The Ivy hosts the first ATL installment of New York's La-Tex Crawfish Boil. Expect more than 400 lbs. of crawfish as well as plenty of drinks, water-gun fights and tunes. Funds raised benefit the Foundation for Louisiana ($20-$25; 2 PM; 404-941-3081).
Boil More: 'Tis the suck-the-heads season, apparently. Seven Lamps also has a Saturday, April 26 crawfish boil scheduled on its patio. The mudbugs come served by the pound ($20 includes one Abita Brewery beer) and live music's provided by local musician Drew Beskin (3-5 PM; 404-467-8950).
Peek: Bad Dog Taqueria is opening its second location this summer on Edgewood Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward. Want a look at the space and sampling of the menu?
