Shop: The East Atlanta Village Farmer's Market returns from 4-7 PM on Thursday, April 10. Chef demonstrations and other events augment the first EAV Market of the season, and a celebratory afterparty takes place at Midway Pub once the market closes down.
Sip: Ray's on the River welcomes warm temperatures with a new monthly wine-and-cheese event that takes advantage of the increasing daylight hours. This month's event at the Sandy Springs restaurant takes place Friday, April 11 ($20, 5-7 PM; 770-955-1187).
Browse: It's opening weekend for the Grant Park Farmer's Market too, and to celebrate the return of the weekly event (and the return of spring), they're also putting on an opening day potluck party with drinks, games, live music and more. The Market runs Sunday, April 13, from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM, and the party starts at 2 PM and runs until 5 PM (478 Grant St.).
Drink: The 19th annual Classic City Brew Fest goes down in Athens on Sunday, April 13. Expect around 350 different local, national and global beers to sample, as well as more than 20 one-time-only casked ales. Proceeds benefit the Athens-Area Humane Society ($40; 2:30-6 PM).
Dine: A prix fixe dinner at KR SteakBar (pictured above) benefits the Giving Kitchen on Sunday, April 13. Courses will be paired with beer selections from local brewery SweetWater($75; 6 PM; 404-841-8820).
