If you thought we were done with the cold weather, Austin has played yet another trick on you. Before spring hits, she’s surprised us with another cold snap. Here’s where to warm up on this cold March day (and be sure to check out our bipolar weather guide to dining if you need other suggestions).

North by Northwest

The North Austin microbrewery and restaurant boasts a big fireplace and plenty of beer to keep you cozy.

Jeffrey’s

The bar area of owner and chef Larry McGuire’s posh Clarksville restaurant roars with a fire and the who’s who of town each night.

Moonshine

Sit by one of the two fireplaces, one with couches and the other with a wrap-around bench. Neither has food service, so grab a cocktail and lounge.

Paggi House

The South Lamar hot spot features not one but two fireplaces and an upscale comfort food menu guaranteed to heat you up.

Roaring Fork

The Arboretum location stuns with its spacious interior, including an enormous fireplace fit for the season.
