What to Eat at Thursday's La Dolce Vita Festival

The 24th annual La Dolce Vita Food & Wine Festival is tomorrow at Laguna Gloria, and it promises to be quite the event. Taste dishes from some of the best chefs and restaurants in town, and sip on wines from Texas’ top wineries. So, what will that food look like? The Salty Sow is serving slow-cooked pork ragout with soft Asiago polenta, Tarka is serving chicken tikka masala with basmati rice and a samosa chaat on the side, highly anticipated laV (which should open in just a few short months) is serving bone marrow custard with pickled mushrooms and brioche croutons, and the Bonneville is making crispy salt cod fritters with lemon aioli. For dessert, savor the caramelia-carrot panna cotta with olive oil cake and apple hooch from Dallas’ Dude, Sweet Chocolate. The event is Thursday night from 6-9 PM.
