Where to Brunch: Mulberry

Though it may seem counterintuitive to hit up a wine bar for brunch, it’s actually quite clever, especially when the food is as good as it is at Mulberry. Chef Kristine Kittrell turns out stunning New American dishes like crepes with blueberry and lemon ricotta, poached eggs with spicy calabrese salami and hollandaise over toast and more lunchy options like a lamb meatball sandwich with dill-caper yogurt. Also not-to-miss are the brunch cocktails at affordable prices, like the $3 mimosa and $5 bellini.
The cozy atmosphere at the downtown spot also makes it a must-try, especially for Valentine’s day weekend. The best part? For those who can’t get out of bed, brunch lasts until 4 PM.
