Off the Menu: Fried Green Tomatoes at Estelle's

Chef Eric Gburski churns out plenty of Southern specialties at the South End's Estelle's. But if you want a side of his fried green tomatoes, you'll need to ask for them; they're worth making the request. Crispy batter conceals a juicy slice for dipping in a slightly spicy remoulade. Pair it with one of about 30 draft craft beers (we're currently loving the Racer 5 IPA from Sonoma's Bear Republic), and you'll feel like you're snacking and sipping during a hot Alabama summer - even in the freezing New England winter (857-250-2999).
