After a brief hiatus, Dose Market, a haven for local artisans, returns in a new home. The market, which used to take over River East Arts Center once a month, will pop-up on Sundays at the brand new Chop Shop (2033 West North Avenue). Dozens of food, fashion and art vendors will sell their finest wares inside the 8,000-square-foot event space call 1st Ward, adjacent to the restaurant, bar and deli that opens next week.
A plethora of foodie finds will appear at Sunday’s market, including Farinata Project chickpea bread, Solemn Oath Brewery beers (and Solemn Oath’s new clothing line, Sover), Madison & Rayne pork ravioli, d'Avo avocado oil, Jeni's Splendid ice cream and eats from Mama's Nuts, Redwall Kitchen and SuckerPunch Gourmet. Caffeine expert and designer Creighton Berman will serve coffee via his all glass pour-over, and bites from Chop Shop will make their culinary debut.
Dose takes place every Sunday through December 15 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Entry costs $5 or a season pass is $30.
