He shakes up a housemade crabapple syrup, Dolin Blanc vermouth, Lustau Palo Cortado sherry and fresh lemon juice and pours it over ice. The cocktail is then topped with more JK's Scrumpy Hard Cider just before serving.

For a fancy take on the trend, sparkling apple cider is a must-have cocktail ingredient for fall. At Philly's Ela, they combine Calvados, Benedictine, honey and Etienne Dupont Cidre Bouche to make the Calville Blanc au Feu, garnished with lemon peel. Merci beaucoup!

At Lucy in the Bardessono Hotel and Spa in Yountville, where they typically serve Californian cuisine, bartender Shead Guinn is mixing up a cider-based tipple to complement the autumn season. To make it, they combine rum, Tuaca, hot apple cider and top it with amaretto whipped cream.
