Craft Beer Event at Flips Patio Grill in Grapevine
American Craft Beer Week kicks off with this lead-up to next weekend’s Grapevine Main Street Days. The pre-festival craft beer event at Flips Patio Grill will feature a meal paired with beer from Saint Arnold Brewing Company in Houston. Cost is $35 for the 6:30 to 8:30 PM event.
Fireside Pies 10th Anniversary Special
In celebration of their 10th anniversary, Fireside Pies locations in Dallas, Grapevine and Plano are offering $10 wood-fired pizzas for diners tonight from 5 to 10 PM.
Littorai Wine Dinner at Spoon Bar & Kitchen
A champion of organic farming methods (and also the first American to oversee a Burgundy domaine), Ted Lemon of Littorai Wines hosts an intimate four-course dinner created by chef John Tesar. Chardonnays and pinot noirs from the Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley will come from the Charles Heintz Vineyard, Thieriot Vineyard, Platt Vineyard, Mays Canyon and Hirsch Vineyard. Tickets are $155 per person for the 6:30 to 9 PM event.
Grgich Hills Estate Wine Dinner at Stephan Pyles
Violet Grgich will be on hand at Stephan Pyles' flagship restaurant to provide commentary at this event featuring hors d'oeuvres and a four-course seated dinner. Pairings include Grgich Hills Estate’s acclaimed Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and "Violetta" Late Harvest wines. Chef Pyles will demonstrate each dish in a private kitchen during the meal. Tickets for the 6:30 to 9:30 PM event are $150.
Gulf Seafood Festival Buffet at Blue Mesa Grill
Seafood from the Gulf Coast takes center on guest chef Sharon Hage's menu, which combines southern cooking with southwestern flavors. A dinner buffet special for $15 per person showcases highlights from the Seasonal Festival menu which will continue through June. Hours are 5-10 PM.
Beaux Frères Wine Dinner at Abacus
Chef Kent Rathbun has created a four-course meal paired with pinot noirs from Oregon’s Willamette Valley at this event led by Kurt Johnson from Beaux Frères Vineyard. Cost is $170 per person for the event which begins at 6:30 PM.
