Ode to Tomatoes and Corn at BRU handbuilt ales & eats 
The Boulder brewpub hosts a three-course beer dinner centered on pork shoulder roasted in corn husks with ale jus, charred-tomato salad, jalapeño-cheddar cornbread and Tang Cream Ale. Cart-Driver Opens

Stoic & Genuine Opens
At long last, the LoDo seafooder from Jennifer Jasinski, Beth Gruitch and Jorel Pierce officially opens its doors. More on the big day to come, but in the meantime, get ready for billi bi, granita-topped oysters, lobster rolls, caviar (pictured top) and much more. Union Station; 303-640-3474

Beer and Cheese Pairing at Copper Kettle Brewing Co.

Mutiny at the Bottle 
For the second installment in beast + bottle’s guest-chef series benefiting the Colorado Flood Relief Fund, Brandon Biederman of Ace Eat Serve and Steuben’s joins Paul Reilly in his Uptown kitchen to cook up a five-course feast that ranges from pickled-beet tartare with cashew cheese and arugula pudding to smoked tagliatelle in uni butter with crab-stuffed squash blossoms ($75 per person without wine, $103 with wine). 719 E. 17th Ave.; 303-623-3223

Crested Butte Wine & Food Festival 
Head for the hills to attend this four-day extravaganza, whose calendar is filled with tastings, paired feasts and educational seminars on everything from breakfast cocktails to glassware.
