TGIF - almost. Here’s a slate of Thursday events to help you start the weekend with a bang:

Napa November at Central Bistro & Bar 
Calling all Cali-philes: Isiah Salazar’s LoHi hot spot (pictured) is hosting a $65, three-course wine dinner, plus intermezzo and dessert, at 7 PM sharp. Paired dishes include chèvre panna cotta with persimmons, arugula and candied citron alongside Charles Krug Sauvignon Blanc and grilled Black Angus tournedos in an oxtail-fig ragout, accompanied by a vertical of Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. And in the name of eating well while doing good, a portion of the proceeds goes to anti-hunger charity We Don’t Waste. Advance reservations a must; call 303-477-4582.

Guest Pizzaiolo Caleb Schiff at Pizzeria Locale Boulder 
Frasca’s famed pie-slinging sibling welcomes Caleb Schiff of the equally acclaimed Flagstaff, Arizona, parlor Pizzicletta for an $18, three-course meal centered on your choice of two pizzas: the Amore oi Mari with prosciutto, mascarpone, pecorino, arugula and Meyer-lemon olive oil or the Calabria with the namesake chiles, ricotta and oregano. The special menu will be offered throughout dinner service, 4:30-10:30 PM.

Ode to Charlie Trotter at 1515 
To commemorate the passing of the legendary Chicago chef, this LoDo longtimer (1515 Market St.; 303-571-0011) is serving up a $65, seven-course feast through November 27. From soup to nuts (so to speak), the menu ranges from cold-smoked salmon with pork belly and sweet potato in a ginger dressing to an espresso-rubbed lamb chop with king-trumpet menus, olive oil-poached turnips and black-grape emulsion.
