Scenes from The Food & Wine All-Star Weekend in Vegas

Usually, what happens in Sin City stays in Sin City. Not so this weekend, as we were on the ground to report the blow-by-blow at the 4th Annual Food & Wine All-Star Weekend. Events held at the Aria, Bellagio and MGM Grand hotels, each manageable affairs with attendance hovering in the hundreds, were refreshingly intimate in a city known for being over-the-top. The chefs in attendance, however, included the biggest names around, such as Joël Robuchon, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Michael Mina, Julian Serrano and Shawn McClain.

Highlights included Shibuya executive chef Heather Zheng and team butchering a 300 lb, $10,000 blue fin tuna, then serving up 10 different tastes of it at the Ten Ways to Sushi event; Joël Robuchon and Michael Mina judging the patties at the annual Burger Bash; and Jean-Georges Vongerichten multi tasking - Tweeting and firing up filet mignons - during the All-Star Brunch at American Fish. And unlike the Hangover flicks, we remembered everything that happened. Check out the photographic evidence below.
