Photo of the Day: Capturing Hungry Cat Crabs

You can never start 'em too early, right? We mean eating crabs, not necessarily taking pictures of them, like these towheaded kiddies did yesterday at the first crab fest for The Hungry Cat Santa Monica. Every summer David Lentz and crew steam bushels and bushels of blue crabs, Maryland-style, at the Hollywood location, but this weekend they offered the same multi-course feast for the beachside outpost. Since blue crabs aren't native to the local Santa Monica waters, we understand these kids' - these Instagramming geniuses - fascination. We hope they learned how to smash, pick and eat them properly, too.
