New Brickell hot spot Lippi Restaurant hosts a luxury Thanksgiving dinner from 5 PM-10 PM. Items offered include chestnuts veloute with spiced French toast and white truffle, seared Maine scallops with pumpkin mousseline, a traditional Thanksgiving turkey served with vegetables and a butternut tart with maple pecan ice cream. The Local House located in the South of Fifth offers a three-course prix fixe dinner on Thanksgiving with leak and garlic roasted potato soup, roasted turkey breast and homemade pumpkin pie. The cost is $49 per person and reservations are required (786-230-8396).
The Piazzetta Marketplace and Restaurant inside the Acqualina Resort & Spa hosts a prix fixe menu from 1 PM-9 PM. Guests can carve their own whole oven-roasted turkey while enjoying sides dishes like assorted salads, glazed baby carrots and sweet potato mash.
