From a new Midtown speakeasy to an oceanfront French brasserie, here are ten restaurants heating up the Miami dining scene.

  • Kush Wynwood

    Why It's Hot: The team behind Coconut Grove's neighborhood burger joint LoKal brings this new ecofriendly gastropub to Wynwood, featuring tap brews, New American pub grub and brownies served with a provocative bag of "greens." 
    Must Order: The Kush & Hash burger topped with bacon and a fried egg, served on a waffle bun with a side of maple syrup ($13).
    Insider Tip: Parking on the street is limited; opt for the free lot adjacent to the restaurant.

  • La Gazzetta Miami

    Why It's Hot: From the guys behind SoBe's Tosca, this lively Brickell newbie has elaborate water fountains and an outdoor theater, plus authentic Italian eats and wines from a keg. 
    Must Order: Ahi tuna sashimi pizzette with wasabi mayo, candied ginger and cilantro ($14).

  • L'echon Brasserie

    Why It's Hot: The Pubbelly Boys latest venture offers family-style French fare in a modern space with an oceanfront outdoor bar.

    Why It's Hot: Inside a massive industrial-style warehouse, this Wynwood newcomer serves contemporary global cuisine with a soon-to-come test kitchen for classes and wine tastings.
    Must Order: Scallop, plus sweetbreads made with purple cauliflower paint, Licor 43 and vanilla cotton candy ($36).
    Insider Tip: An elaborate 18-course menu with exclusive dishes is offered Thursday-Saturday (one seating per evening) at a 24-seat communal table ($110-$160 per person).

  • Sriracha House

    Why It's Hot: Created with Southeast Asia's street markets and noodle shops in mind, this laid-back SoBe eatery puts a fresh spin on traditional Pan-Asian cart food.
    Must Order: Make your own noodle plate with plentiful options, including veggies, eggs, shrimp and spicy-hot sauce.

  • Oolite Restaurant and Bar
