Hell's Kitchen Sizzles with New Bacon Bar

The bacon bandwagon has a new meeting place to call home, as recently opened BarBacon puts the pork product in the spotlight through a variety of dishes and drinks. The gastropub's menu showcases the cured meat in sandwich, salad and even whiskey form; there's also the opportunity to take advantage of artisanal bacon and craft beer flights if you're having a hard time selecting a strip. Options range from Nueske's Applewood Smoked Bacon to a homemade lamb version, with Amy's Bread supplying ciabattas and pretzel buns. Brews range from American craft darlings like Magic Hat No. 9 to imports like Delirium Tremens; plus there's a strong list of ryes and bourbons. In addition to lunch and dinner, the restaurant is already offering weekend brunch service for those who aren't able to get their fried pork fix during the week.
