There's a new burger joint in Midtown East near the UN, and it comes eqipped with plenty of outdoor seating. Perfect timing, since the heatwave just broke and we're about ready to sit outside and stuff our faces again. Dag's Patio Cafe is located in Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza on 47th Street and is now offering a menu of LaFrieda burgers and franks. The patty actually contains both short rib and chicken, a pretty unique blend, and you can enjoy it with vino, beer and soft serve ice cream. The spot's patio, aka the real reason for stopping by, is spacious, fitting up to 125 diners. The space, which is open for breakfast at 7 AM and will serve until 10 PM, is run by the folks behind tony bars like The World Bar in Trump Towner and Campbell Apartment in Grand Central.
