Pok Pok Ny Moving to a New Location

By Jenny Miller
November 13, 2013

Heads up, Pok Pok Ny fans: we've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that Andy Ricker's beloved Thai restaurant will temporarily shutter after service this Sunday, November 17, in order to transport the whole operation down the block to 117 Columbia Street. The good news is that when it reopens the week of the 23rd, it will be in a much larger space with 64 seats, a bigger kitchen and two bathrooms instead of just one. Its new location will also have outdoor seating for warm weather. Meanwhile, the current digs at 127 Columbia will become an event space known as Suan Pok Pok (i.e., Pok Pok Garden). And if you simply must get your spice fix next week (because, after all, Mission Chinese is also temporarily closed), we hear Ricker's Columbia Street bar, Whiskey Soda Lounge, will offer some Pok Pok favorites in addition to its usual menu during the transition.
