Shelter Pizza Opens Sunday in Williamsburg

The Rosarito Fish Shack folks are expanding their western Williamsburg influence with a new restaurant, Shelter Pizza, opening Sunday. The spot will offer rustic brick-oven pizzas (reportedly Argentina-via-Italy style) and empanadas baked in one of the two on-site brick ovens. A wide selection of Old and New World whiskies is displayed in vintage packing crates, and you'll find a dozen beers on tap. A vintage Americana vibe carries over in the rest of the decor: a faded American flag painted on corrugated tin marks the exterior, while inside, the high-ceilinged space is dotted with tchotchkes and antiques. This one opens Sunday.
