Luke’s Lobster Winter Menu, Shake Shack Happy Hour

As the chill begins to hit, Rittenhouse is looking cozier and cozier. Philadelphia hasn’t yet had a chance to experience the winter menu at Luke’s Lobster; it launches today and we’re in for a treat. New options at the below-ground seafood shack include lobster grilled cheese and lobster mac ‘n’ cheese. The grilled cheese is made with Gruyère on organic white bread (from Maine), and the mac also comes from the Pine Tree state, specifically from Hurricane’s Soup. Lobster is mixed in to order at the counter. Hot apple cider is now also available.

Luke’s is also introducing charity Mondays. Each week, a portion of all sales between 4-7 PM will be donated to local nonprofits, including Philabundance and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Speaking of happy hour times of day, Foobooz has the news that the Rittenhouse Shake Shack has just launched a two-for-one happy hour. Each Monday-Thursday between 4-6 PM, all beer and wine is available at two for the price of one. A couple beers followed by a lobster grilled cheese sounds just about perfect.
