Opening Menus for Osteria Moorestown

Last week, Marc Vetri and partners opened a second Osteria in the Moorestown Mall. The opening marked the first New Jersey venture for the Vetri Family and also the first full bar in the formerly dry suburb. As for the food, word was the menu was very similar to the North Broad location, but unless you went in for dinner, there was nowhere to check them out in detail (as of now, there’s not a separate website for the Jersey location, and even OpenTable doesn’t have the lists up yet).

Until now. Below are the opening dishes that chef de cuisine Mike Deganis is putting out for lucky diners across the river. The lists are indeed very close to the Philly restaurant, down to the matching prices, but there are a couple of differences, including some old favorites that have made a return.

You won’t currently find the pheasant lasagnetta in Philly, nor the cauliflower risotto. The fig, speck and gorgonzola Trentino Neapolitan pie and the warm Creekstone beef carpaccio with chanterelles are additional reasons to make the trip east.
