Zagat's consistently top-rated spot is expanding service hours from 4-10:30 PM on February 13-15, offering a solid chance of scoring a reservation for a typically-tough room. The restaurant will serve from the extensive current winter menu, which features dishes such as roast Maine lobster with potato puree, chanterelle mushrooms, edamame and tarragon, juniper crusted venison with braised red cabbage, cranberry compote, chestnut spätzle and tangerines and lemon pepper duck breast with duck hash, bacon braised endive and cardamom poached pears. Diners choose to build a bespoke three, four or five course meal ($73, $92 and $107, respectively, with optional wine pairings). As a nod to Valentine's Day, a rose and chocolates are included for each table.
