The itty bitty takeout window Little Skillet gets to stretch out and flex its cooking skills at the new Victory Hall. The kitchen has also carried on the late night ethos of former tenant, 330 Ritch, by offering brunch from 10 AM to a whopping midnight on Saturdays and Sundays. Little Skillet's specialty of fried chicken and waffles is the de facto star here, but there are also inventive bites ($6-17) like maple brined pork belly with eggs and creamy grits, a breakfast veggie pie and French toast stuffed with cream cheese, poached pears and pomegranate. Cocktail options include brunch-dedicated creations and drinks made for two such as the Wise Council (red wine, vermouth, brown sugar syrup, cranberry and orange). Best part, there's no danger of oversleeping and missing brunch.
