Where to Get Cheeseburger Ramen Tomorrow

Nombe drew long lines last month at the SF Street Food Festival for their version of New York's ramen burger craze. Now, a local soup master is flipping the script. Hapa Ramen proprietor Richie Nakano is currently brewing up a special broth (pictured) for his cheeseburger ramen, which he'll serve from 6-10 PM tomorrow night at Wing Wings in the Lower Haight. The finished bowl will have beef broth with cheese-laden jalapeño beef slider patty, spicy ketchup, pickled mustard seed and cabbage, with optional bacon and egg. If that doesn't sound indulgent enough, Nakano says you can also add a dollop of uni (sea urchin). While we're not expecting Nombe's lines here, it might still be a good idea to show up early if you want to try this.
