Yes it looks like even Starbucks is trying to come up with the next Cronut. Starbucks U.K. has unveiled their version of a pastry hybrid - the Duffin - a combo of doughnut and muffin. Oh yes, they did. Filled with a raspberry jam, the Duffin has a buttermilk base, a hint of nutmeg and is coated in sugar after baking. While it's only available in the U.K., we wonder what hybrid creations might be headed for the U.S. shores in the coming months...[Starbucks U.K. via Eater]
