Toronto's event scene shows no polar vortex side effects, here's a list of upcoming events this month that are worth checking out.

January 14: Robbie Burns Warm-up
Scotch lovers rejoice, popular craft beer haven C'est What is hosting a tasting in honour of the Scottish poet. The event takes you on a whisky tour through three regions of
Scotland. Six whiskies will be featured in total as part of the tasting (1996 Glen Grant and Benriach Importanticus Fumosus 12 year from Speyside, Tobermory 10 year and
Caol Ila 12 year from the islands, and Auchentoshan 12 year and Glenkinchie 12 year from the Lowlands).

January 20: SIO Winter Classic - Pop-Up at 99 Sudbury 
The Sake Insitute of Ontario is hosting a full-bodied sake tasting event at 99 Sudbury's art gallery space.
The event will feature a variety of sakes (Junmai, Yamahai, Kimoto) complimented by Japanese-inspired street food from
chef Michael Pataran. Tickets are available online.

January 20: Hinterland Winemaker's Dinner at Momofuku Nikai 
One of Ontario's most popular sparkling wine producers will be at Momo Nikai for a winemaker's dinner. The family-style
feast will showcase the Prince Edward County winery's portfolio of sparkling wines, highlighting different styles and aging
methods. Considering that Hinterland's sparklers are almost never on store shelves, this will be a real treat.

January 25: Steam Whistle Winter Craft Beer Fest
We recently shared details on Toronto's first winter craft beer fest, which takes place later this month at Steam Whistle
Brewery. Shake off the winter blues, grab a fellow beer lover and head to the event which features 18 Ontario craft
brewers who will be pouring their popular beers as well as one-off seasonals.

January 26: Guest Chef Series at Porzia
Chef Basilio Pesce continues his guest chef series at the Parkdale restaurant. This time he's inviting Campagnolo chef
Craig Harding over to Porzia to cook a five course dinner menu.

Winterlicious (Jan 31st to Feb 13th)
The annual prix-fix celebration returns bigger than ever. This year, over 200 restaurants will be offering
