The Willard InterContinental announced today that Serge Devesa took over the kitchens at the tony downtown hotel as of July 12. The chef replaces Luc Dendievel in overseeing all of the hotel’s food-service operations, including the on-premises French restaurant Café du Parc.
Devesa most recently held the post of executive chef for InterContinental New York Barclay, where he reportedly cooked for the president and First Lady, among other heads of state. Before that, he could be found serving in the same position at Colette Bar and Bistro in the Hotel Sofitel in Minneapolis.
