Daily Digestif: Bethesda Row's Spring Restaurant Week Starts Monday

- Bethesda Row hosts a Spring Restaurant Week from April 21-27, when 16 restaurants will offer a three-course lunch menu for $15 and a three-course dinner menu for $30. Participating restaurants include Assaggi, 100 Montaditos, Luke’s Lobster and Jaleo. Restaurant Week menus can be viewed here, and valet parking is available after 5 PM in front of Vino Volo.

- Uprising Muffin Co. soft opened over the weekend and is officially open as of today. The Shaw bakery and cafe features 35 muffin flavors - ranging from blueberry to maple pancake with bacon - made from scratch, plus locally roasted coffee and grab-and-go sandwiches and salads. The bakery will be open from 6 AM-6 PM Monday through Saturday and from 7 PM-3 PM Sundays (1817 Seventh St. NW; 202-630-8140).

- Brighten up your tax day with the following specials being offered tomorrow by a few area restaurants: half-price Rappahannock oysters and sparkling wine at Trummer’s on Main; half off all cocktails, beer and wines all day at BLT Steak; free whiskey tastings and $8 whiskey cocktails at Jack Rose Dining Saloon; a late-night happy hour at Vinoteca featuring 15 wines at only $5 per glass, $5 select beers, and specials on small plates from 9-11 PM.
