Head to The Source on Wednesday September 18 for a duck focused dinner that will showcase the versatility of the fowl. Executive chef Scott Drewno is gathering seven top toques - Nathan Anda (Red Apron Butchery) Bertand Chemel (2941), RJ Cooper (Rogue 24), Katsuya Fukushima (Daikaya), Mike Isabella (Graffiato/Kapnos/G), Frederick de Pue (Azur, Table) and David Varley (Mina Group) - to prepare a different dish using ducks supplied by a Pennsylvania farm.
Guests will tour the chefs’ stations and sample different parts of the bird, prepared with varied international flavors. Expect French, Japanese, Chinese, Belgian, Greek Italian and American regional dishes - and plenty of good natured quackery from the chefs. A Grey Goose martini bar and Port City Brewing Company pairings will add to the fun (7-9 PM; $99, go here for tickets).
