Local restaurants and bars often see snow days as a chance to open early and reacquaint DC residents with the all-day buzz. Here's a list of early openings, deals and closings that have emerged so far. Check back here throughout the day for updates.
Osteria Morini runs its happy hour all day today, starting at 11:30 AM. Complimentary mulled cider will also be available to diners today (202-484-0660).
Cashion's Eat Place will be open at the bar only with light fare from 5-9 PM. Happy hour pricing will be in effect for the duration of service, and the full dinner menu will not be available (202-797-1819).
Osteria Marzano has instituted a snow-day policy of happy hour all day at the bar, with drink and pizza specials, whenever it snows (703-313-9700).
Cork Market is offering half-price Trickling Springs hot chocolate - regularly $3, today $1.50 - for kids (202-265-2674).
DC Reynolds is offering buy one, get one free drinks today (202-506-7178).
Hill Country offers all-day happy hour and wings specials (202-556-2050).
Kangaroo Boxing Club tweets that the bar opens at noon but invites drinkers to bring their own snacks since the kitchen won’t open till 5 PM (202-505-4522).
Bearnaise offers $5 hot toddies all day (202-450-4800).
El Chucho, Bar Charley, Sidebar and Jackie's will all offer $3 hot drinks and $3 tall boys today. Capriotti’s is offering a free size upgrade when you order a small or medium sub (202-429-2277).
