Weekend Planner: Chase Away the Snow Blues with a Vernal Equinox Party

Brabo by Robert Wiedmaier hosts a vernal equinox party in its courtyard Sunday from 2-5:30 PM, when chef Harper McClure will serve up whole roasted Shenandoah Valley lamb, herb-roasted new potatoes, spring onions and herb pesto paired with marzen beer. The Corcoran Gallery of Art hosts its annual Artini event Saturday from 8:30 PM-midnight, when attendees can sip 10 art-inspired cocktails crafted by competing mixologists while viewing the Corcoran collection. There will also be music, dancing, beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets cost $115-$180 and can be purchased here.
