East Coast Restaurant Weeks

Summer is a typically slow season in the restaurant industry, making it a popular time to offer prix fixe promotions in a bid to draw diners. Restaurant Week deals are currently going on in NYC and Hudson County, New Jersey, and about to launch in Boston and Washington, DC.

Wrapping up Friday, July 27th, NYC Restaurant Week offers three-course deals for lunch ($24.07) and/or dinner ($35). For a sampling of the best deals, check out the Buzz's Restaurant Week menu analysis.

Across the Hudson River in New Jersey, Hoboken eateries are serving prix fixe lunches starting at $13 and dinners starting at $23 through August 3rd.

Over 150 eateries will participate in Boston’s 7th Annual Summer Restaurant Week, actually a twelve-day event that kicks off on August 5th. Boston Public Meat, Metropolis Cafe, OM Restaurant, Sasso, Sorellina and Taranta, among many others, will offer special three-course dinner menus for $33.07 and/or three-course lunches for $20.07 through August 17th.

Lastly, DC Restaurant Week kicks off a day later on August 6th and runs through the 12th, when participating restaurants will feature three-course lunches for $20.07 and/or dinners for $30.07; highlights include Colvin Run Tavern, Equinox, New Heights (where you can sample chef John Wabeck's new dishes) and Vidalia.
